A foundation built on real experience
Telemed Advisors was founded in 2019 by Alicia Hernandez, a healthcare operations leader with a proven record of success in virtual care delivery. Alicia began her telehealth career at MDLIVE, one of the earliest pioneers in digital healthcare, where she worked hands-on with clinical recruitment, provider network operations, and overall operational scalability.
Her career has since spanned multiple roles in healthcare, with expertise in compliance, clinical operations, and technology-enabled service delivery. She has helped both startups and established organizations build sustainable virtual care programs by bridging the gap between medical providers, payers, and patients.
Today, Telemed Advisors leverages this foundation to support dozens of organizations in launching, scaling, and optimizing their telehealth programs — making virtual care more efficient, compliant, and impactful across the healthcare ecosystem.
